Streaming to X (Twitter)

X (formerly Twitter) supports live streaming through its Media Studio. pMix includes a built-in X preset.

Getting your stream key

1. Go to X Media Studio (requires an X account)
2. Navigate to Producer → Sources
3. Create a new source to get your RTMP URL and Stream Key

Configuring pMix

1. Open Settings → Streaming
2. Select X as the platform
3. Paste your stream key
4. Review the recommended settings:

Setting	Recommended value
Resolution	1280x720 or 1920x1080
Frame rate	30 fps
Video codec	H.264
Bitrate	2500–5000 kbps
Keyframe interval	2 seconds
Audio	AAC, 128 kbps

Going live

1. Tap Start in pMix’s output controls
2. In X Media Studio, create a new broadcast using your source
3. The stream becomes available as a live video on your X profile
4. When finished, tap Stop in pMix

Tips

• 720p is often recommended — X’s player is typically viewed in small embed sizes
• H.264 only — H.265 is not supported
• Media Studio access — You may need to apply for Media Studio access depending on your account type
