Loading Projects
Load a saved project to restore your entire production setup instantly.
How to load
- Open Settings → Project
- Browse your saved projects
- Select the project to load
- Tap Load
- Your production state is restored
What happens on load
When you load a project:
- All source slots are configured with their saved sources
- Scenes are recreated with their layer assignments
- Audio levels, mute states, and routing are restored
- Transition settings are applied
- Streaming configuration (platform, key, bitrate) is restored
- Overlay content and positions are set up
Network sources
Sources that depend on network connectivity (NDI, iPhone cameras) will attempt to reconnect:
- NDI sources — pMix rediscovers them on the network. If the same NDI source is available, it reconnects automatically
- iPhone cameras — The pMix Camera app needs to be running on the iPhone. The iPad will attempt to reconnect
If a network source isn’t available when the project loads, its slot shows an error state until the source comes online.
Transitioning between projects
Loading a new project replaces the current state entirely. If you want to preserve your current setup:
- Save the current state as a project first
- Then load the new project
Tips
- Pre-show routine — Load your project 15–30 minutes before showtime to allow network sources time to reconnect
- Verify after loading — Check that all sources are connected, audio levels are correct, and overlays look right
- Stream keys — Stream keys are saved with the project. If your platform uses rotating keys (e.g., Facebook), update the key after loading
