What is pMix?
pMix is a multi-camera live production app for iPad. It turns your iPad into a broadcast switcher — connect multiple cameras, switch between them in real time, add overlays and graphics, mix audio, and stream or record the result.
Who is it for?
- Content creators streaming to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, or TikTok
- Churches and houses of worship broadcasting services
- Event producers covering conferences, concerts, and sports
- Podcasters running multi-camera shows
- Educators producing live training and webinars
What can it do?
Multi-camera switching
Connect up to 8 video sources — NDI cameras, iPhones, SRT feeds, media files, and more — and switch between them with professional transitions.
Professional transitions
Choose from 11 transition types: cut, cross dissolve, fade, wipe, iris, star wipe, split, cover, cross zoom, cube, and twist. Each is configurable with direction, duration, and easing.
Live streaming
Stream directly to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook Live, TikTok, X, and Restream — or any custom RTMP server. You can also output via NDI, SRT, or HLS.
Local recording
Record your program output to the iPad’s storage simultaneously with streaming.
Audio mixing
Full audio mixer with per-source volume, mute, audio-follow-video, routing modes, gain boost, metering, and local microphone input.
Scenes and compositing
Create multi-source layouts — picture-in-picture, side-by-side, quad grid, and more — and switch between them like regular sources.
Overlays
Add text lower thirds, logos, countdown timers, and image overlays on top of your program output.
iPhone as camera
Use your iPhone as a wireless camera source over your local network, with remote control of zoom, focus, and exposure from the iPad.
Remote control
Control pMix via OSC from TouchOSC, Bitfocus Companion, or any OSC controller. AI voice commands are also available.
