System Requirements

iPad

• Minimum: iPad with Apple Silicon (M1 or later)
• OS: iPadOS 17.0 or later
• Recommended: iPad Pro with M2 or later for best performance with multiple high-resolution sources
• Storage: At least 500 MB free for the app; additional space needed for local recordings

iPhone (as camera source)

• Minimum: iPhone with A14 chip or later
• OS: iOS 17.0 or later
• Recommended: iPhone 13 or later for best video quality and thermal performance

Network

• Local network: All devices (iPad, iPhones, NDI sources) must be on the same local network
• Wi-Fi: 5 GHz Wi-Fi strongly recommended for multi-camera setups. 2.4 GHz may work for a single camera but can be unreliable
• Router: A dedicated router or access point for your production network is recommended for best reliability
• Streaming: Stable upload bandwidth matching your streaming bitrate (minimum 4–8 Mbps recommended for 1080p)

For NDI sources

• Any NDI-compatible camera, software, or device on the same local network
• NDI discovery uses mDNS (Bonjour) — ensure your network allows multicast traffic

For SRT sources

• Any SRT-compatible encoder or device
• The iPad acts as an SRT listener; the source connects to the iPad’s IP and port

For USB capture (UVC)

• A USB-C UVC capture device (HDMI to USB-C)
• Connected directly to the iPad’s USB-C port
